Dashboard
Revenue and media spend in one view.
The dashboard leads with your MER, then shows what makes up total revenue and total media spend, source by source, with each one’s share.
- This month, last month, the last 30 days or a custom range
- Named rows for revenue and costs outside Google, such as another ad platform or an agency fee
- A CPA or ROAS target, with a meter showing whether you are on target
In Slack
Your MER in Slack, on schedule or on request.
/ppctor mer posts the month to date: MER, GA4 revenue and Google Ads cost, the revenue and expenses you entered, and both totals. A schedule posts the same to the account’s channel daily, weekly or monthly.
- Daily at an hour you choose, weekly on a day, or monthly on a date
- Rules can act on it: MER too low, MER strong
- Edit the figures you enter from the link in the post
Total revenue
- GA4 revenue
- Other revenue you enter
Total media spend
- Google Ads cost
- Other expenses you enter
MER
- Total revenue ÷ total media spend
- N/A when there was no spend
Ready-made rules
- MER too low: Reduce budgets when total revenue is too low relative to media spending.
- MER strong: Increase budgets when revenue is strong relative to media spending.
Good to know
- MER needs a GA4 property linked to the Google Ads account in ppctor.
- In Slack, MER covers the current month to date in the account’s time zone. Other ranges are on the web.
- With no media spend in the period, MER shows N/A instead of a figure.
- Ask the assistant for Blended ROAS or MER over any period, with Google Ads spend or GA4’s imported cost.
