Google Ads AI assistant in Slack
Ask about the Google Ads account linked to a Slack channel and get answers from its live data. Ask for a chart or a table of the numbers. Ask for a change, and ppctor prepares it for review; nothing in Google Ads changes until you confirm it.
Add to Slack Free to start · Sign in with Google, then choose a channelAsk about the account in plain words.
Mention @ppctor in the Slack channel linked to the account. It reads the live Google Ads data and replies in a thread under your question. Follow-up questions in that thread need no mention.
- Dates follow the account’s time zone
- Conversions and ROAS count primary conversion actions, unless you ask to include secondary ones
- GA4 and Merchant Center answers too, when they are linked to the account

Ask for a chart or a table.
Ask for a line, bar, area or pie chart, or a table, and it is posted as a native Slack chart or table. The numbers come from the same read as the answer, never typed in by the AI.
- Up to three metrics on one chart, when they share a unit
- A daily series longer than 20 days is split across two charts, never averaged
- “Make that a table” works as a follow-up
Ask for a change and approve it in the thread.
Say what you want changed. ppctor finds the exact campaigns, ad groups, ads or keywords, prepares the change and posts it as a review card. Nothing in Google Ads changes until you press Confirm and Execute.
- Statuses, budgets, target CPA and ROAS, keywords, negative keywords, locations, languages and extensions
- New campaigns, asset groups and ads are created paused
- Other Google Ads settings are prepared from the Google Ads API’s own definitions
Existing campaign: Search · Desk accessories
- Status: Enabled → Paused
Existing campaign: Search · Standing desks – exact
- Daily budget: 120 → 144 USD
From your request to a verified change.
Every change follows the same steps, from pausing one campaign to creating an ad group with its keywords.
- 1You ask for it
Only the person who connected ppctor to Slack can ask for changes. Anyone in the channel can ask questions.
- 2ppctor prepares a review card
It reads the current settings, then lists the account, every item it would change with the campaign or ad group it belongs to, what changes on each, and the reason.
- 3You confirm on the card
Replying “yes” does nothing. Only Confirm and Execute applies the change, and only the person who asked can press it. The card expires after 15 minutes.
- 4ppctor checks before sending
It reads the settings again and stops if they changed after the card was made. Google then validates the change without applying it, where Google offers that check.
- 5The change is sent once
If Google’s answer is unclear, ppctor does not send it again on its own and tells you to review the account.
- 6ppctor reads the account back
The card then shows the result: Executed and verified, Google accepted the request (when a setting cannot be read back), or Execution not fully verified.
Good to know
- Each Slack channel is linked to one Google Ads account, and ppctor answers only about that account in that channel.
- A follow-up without a mention works in a thread ppctor answered in during the last 7 days. After that, mention @ppctor again.
- One reply holds up to two charts and one table. Ask for more in another message.
- One review card holds up to three kinds of change. The same change on several items counts once, so pausing five campaigns is one kind.
- When part of a request cannot be done, ppctor says so instead of preparing only the rest.
