Google Ads audit in Slack
Type /ppctor audit. ppctor checks the account, lists the issues in the channel and attaches the complete audit as a file. The account owner reviews and applies fixes on the web, and a fix shows as done only when Google Ads confirms it.

Issues
• PMax Final URL Expansion - 1 Performance Max campaign has Final URL Expansion turned off.
• PMax "Long Headline" coverage - 1 Performance Max asset group provides fewer than 2 "Long Headline" assets.
• Short headlines - 2 responsive search ads have at least one headline shorter than 20 characters.
• RSA short descriptions - 1 responsive search ad has a description under 60 characters.
• Sitelink descriptions - 8 of 12 sitelinks are missing one or both description lines.
• Converting keywords capped by ad rank - 1 converting keyword loses more than 10% of impressions to ad rank.
I only list issues in Slack. The HTML audit posted in this channel includes every check, including passed checks and items worth reviewing.
Review and apply fixes (account owner login required): https://ppctor.com/app/audits/…/fixes
Settings, tracking, ads, keywords and Performance Max.
The audit reads the account and its last 30 days of performance. Each check ends as an issue, something to review, a pass or information.
- Conversion tracking: counting, primary and secondary actions, value reported twice, Enhanced Conversions for Leads
- Campaign settings: Display Network and Search Partners on Search campaigns, location and language targeting, AI Max, bid strategy, ad rotation
- Ads, keywords and Performance Max: short and pinned headlines, disapproved and duplicated ads, Quality Score, final URL expansion, search themes, audience signals
Fixes you review, applied after you confirm.
Review fixes opens the audit on the web for the account owner. A fix shows the current setting next to the recommended one. After you confirm, ppctor changes Google Ads and reads the account again; the panel turns Optimal only when that read confirms the change.
- Fix one item, or every item a check found
- Editors for languages, locations, search themes and audience signals
- The same fixes can be asked for in Slack, through the AI assistant

Good to know
- In Slack, up to 12 issues are named and the rest are counted. The attached HTML file holds every check, including passes and items to review.
- Fixes need the account owner to be signed in. The Slack message links to them.
- If Google refuses a fix, nothing changes. If a change is made but cannot be read back, the panel says so instead of showing Optimal.
- Every run is saved, so an earlier audit can be opened again from Logs.
- Merchant Center has its own audit:
